EXHORTATION

1. WHAT IS CELEBRATION?

• A celebration is a SPECIAL ENJOYABLE EVENT that people organize because something pleasant has happened.
• Celebration is the act and process of showing appreciation or gratitude.

• Celebration is taken from the Latin word “Celebrare” –  TO ASSEMBLE, TO HONOUR.
• Merrymaking
• Jollification
• Get together
• Reveling
• Festivity
• Partying
• A Biblical celebration is a constant reminder of what God has done in order to encourage others.

• IMPORTANCE OF CELEBRATION
• Psalm 118 v 24

1. When you are happy and joyful.
2. When God has done you well.
3. When your desire is fulfilled.
4. When success comes your way.
5. When laughter ends your matter.
6. When you make it at last.
7. When helpers are sent to you by God.
8. When what makes you sad turns to happiness.
9. When an impossibility becomes possible.
10. When an unusual Favour comes your way.
11. When an unexpected blessing comes your way. e.g.  The man/Barclays Bank Insurance.
12. When what they thought will destroy you now promotes you.  (Obededom , Joseph)
13. When all of a sudden God lifts your head up.
14. When you escape disasters & tragedies miraculously.
15. When Help comes unto you from the least expected quarter.
16. When God gives you DIVINE SPEED and PROMOTION.
17. When you hear Good News.
18. When your fortune turns around.
19. When your book of remembrance is opened.
20. When you received a MIGHTY DELIVERANCE from God.
21. When your name is recommended and approved for good.
22. When you have an ANGELIC VISITATION.
23. When God changes your story to success story.
24. When the work of your hand prospers.
25. When there is a massive recovery and Total Restoration.
26. When what is making people to laugh at you is reversed.
27. BIBLICAL EXAMPLES OF CELEBRATION

1.ABRAHAM CELEBRATED THE WEANING OF HIS SON ISAAC

• Genesis 21 v 8

“So the child grew and was weaned. And Abraham made a great feast on the same day that Isaac was weaned.”

2.WEDDING CELEBRATION IN GALILEE

• John 2 v 1 – 12

v.1 “On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. “

v.2 “Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding.”

v.3 “And when they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, “They have no wine.”

v.4  “Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does your concern have to do with Me? My hour has not yet come.”

v.5  “His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.”

v.6 “Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of purification of the Jews, containing twenty or thirty gallons apiece”

v.11 “This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him.”

3.THE HOUSE OF OBEDEDOM

• 1 Chro. 13 v 9 – 14

v.9 “And when they came to Chidon’s threshing floor, Uzza put out his hand to hold the ark, for the oxen stumbled.”

v.10 “Then the anger of the Lord was aroused against Uzza, and He struck him because he put his hand to the ark; and he died there before God. 11 And David became angry because of the Lord’s outbreak against Uzza; therefore that place is called Perez Uzza to this day.”

v.12 “David was afraid of God that day, saying, “How can I bring the ark of God to me?”

v.13 “So David would not move the ark with him into the City of David, but took it aside into the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite.”

 v.14 “The ark of God remained with the family of Obed-Edom in his house three months. And the Lord blessed the house of Obed-Edom and all that he had.”

9. Those who will facilitate my celebration, appear in Jesus name.
10. Any evil gathering to disturb and distort my celebration, scatter by fire in Jesus name.

12. Monitoring powers assigned against my celebration, be disgraced in Jesus name.
13. Any gang-up against my celebration, scatter by fire in Jesus name.
14. Celebration paralyzers assigned against me, be disgraced in Jesus name.
15. Covens entertaining my case in order to hinder my celebration be consumed by fire in Jesus name.
16. Wind of celebration, blow into my life, my family and work in Jesus name.
17. Embargo on my celebration, be lifted in Jesus name.
18. Battles against my celebration, scatter in Jesus name.
19. My angels of celebration, locate me and my family in Jesus name.
