Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Fintiri, on Monday declared that “Adamawa is Asiwaju state” while expressing support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Fintiri made the declaration during the campaign launch of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, which unveiled buses for coordinators in 14 states to strengthen grassroots mobilisation for Tinubu.
This was contained in a statement signed by the PBAT door-to-door media unit, which was obtained by our correspondent.

“Adamawa is Asiwaju state,” the governor declared, signalling his support for the President as political activities gather momentum ahead of the 2027 elections.
The movement said the vehicles would support community outreach and campaign activities across local government areas as it expands its operations nationwide.
Speaking during the handover ceremony, the National Coordinator of the movement, Sunday Asuku, urged the beneficiaries to strengthen collaboration and intensify grassroots engagement in their respective states.
Asuku called on the coordinators to deepen mobilisation in support of Tinubu’s re-election bid, stressing the importance of taking the campaign directly to communities.
The deployment forms part of the movement’s efforts to expand its operational capacity and communicate the administration’s achievements and Renewed Hope Agenda to Nigerians.
The movement said its mobilisation strategy centred on direct engagement with citizens through state and local government structures, with door-to-door campaigns serving as a key component of its outreach.
It added that it would extend its activities to more states through sustained consultations and community engagement ahead of the 2027 general elections.
