I am writing this post specifically for Mr Peter Obi and his IPOB followers.
We can no longer take this hyp++ocrisy.
You cannot spend every day demarketing Nigeria..
Praying for its collapse,
Calling it a failed state,
Begging foreign powers to intervene — and then suddenly expect Nigerians to hand you the keys to lead it.
It doesn’t happen anywhere.
That is not patriotism. That is political hypocrisy.
Let me be blunt.
Many IPOB supporters who back Peter Obi have made it a habit to:
– Insult Nigerians who disagree with them
– Spread hate online
– Abuse ethnic groups
– Call Nigeria irredeemable
– Celebrate sanctions and instability
– Openly call for foreign intervention
And after all that… they say “vote for us”.
That is foolishness.
No serious nation hands power to people who:
- Talk down on the country they want to govern.
- Curse the system they want to inherit.
- Treat persuasion as abuse.
- Replace arguments with insults.
- Replace policies with online rage.
Leadership is not Twitter noise. Shebi ah don tell una before?
Leadership is not moral grandstanding. Wetin una don achieve with am?
Leadership is not calling everyone stupid and expecting applause.
If you truly want to lead Nigeria:
– You must sell Nigeria, not destroy its image. Become its Ambassador.
– You must unite people, not radicalize them.
– You must respect dissent, not demonize it.
– You must win hearts, not trend with insults.
Politics is about numbers, coalitions, persuasion, and maturity — not online extremism.
You cannot hate the country, hate the people, hate opposing views, and still expect democratic power.
Elections are not won by anger alone.
Countries are not built by bitterness.
Nigeria has problems — yes.
But only serious patriots with emotional intelligence, strategic thinking, and respect for pluralism can fix them.
If your movement survives only on rage and insults, it is not a government-in-waiting.
