Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has mocked his traducers who claimed he suffered a heart attack in London.

He said that he would write the condolence letter of those behind the wicked rumour.

He spoke in Abuja on Thursday while flagging off the construction of Arterial Road N1 from Wuye District to Ring Road II.

Wike said that he only travelled abroad to rest.

“Since I took this appointment as minister, I have never had time to travel out; so I said let me go on holidays.”

” This time round, I refused to travel with files. If the world would crumble, let it crumble because one has to be alive before you can satisfy everybody,” Wike said.

Noting that public service is demanding, he said it was easy to replace officials once they left office, hence his decision to prioritise his health.

He mocked those spreading the false report, saying: “God will continue to help them to have heart attack. It is my prayer I will sign their condolences.

“This is a country where someone can go on social media and call the President a criminal, and nothing will happen.”

“You are lucky to have a president that believes in the rule of law,” he added.
