Movie producer Kazim Adeoti has spoken highly of his wife, Nollywood star Mercy Aigbe, applauding her for her integrity and sincerity.
During an appearance on Oyinmomo TV, Adeoti looked back on their first collaboration in 2011, when Mercy played a role in the film Hajia Jemila.
According to him, after receiving her payment, she returned the extra amount, an action he said deeply impressed him.

“In 2011, she featured in Hajia Jemila. I paid her, and unlike many others who usually complained about the fee, she returned to say there was excess and handed it back,” Adeoti said.
He noted that despite being advised to avoid working closely with women in the film industry, Mercy’s character and conduct made him rethink that stance.
He continued, “People warned me not to partner with women in the industry, but she completely shifted my mindset. Not only is she beautiful, she’s also grounded in values. That honesty stood out.”
Adeoti said he never reclaimed the returned cash and from that experience, their working relationship continued to grow, eventually leading to marriage.
