When Dealing With Tinubu Sleep With 2 Eyes Open, He Was Only Gov Who Survived Obasanjo In S’West—Ulasi

In an interview with Symfoni TV, Ulasi said when Tinubu was the governor of Lagos State under the platform of AD and Olusegun Obasanjo was Nigeria’s president, Obasanjo made several attempts to make Lagos a PDP-controlled state. Ulasi stated that despite all efforts, Tinubu successfully resisted and kept Lagos under his control.

Ulasi said Obasanjo managed to turn the other five states in the southwest into PDP states but Tinubu was the only governor who survived that political storm. He stated anyone facing Tinubu in politics must remain alert and strategic at all times.

In Ulasi’s words: “We have a president in this country, I don’t underrate him. People take Tinubu for granted. I am one Nigeria who don’t take Tinubu for granted, if you are dealing with Tinubu and you are sleeping you must have your two eyes open.

If you know as governor of Lagos State there was nothing 8 years of Obasanjo that was not done to take that state from him. There was a time PDP took the other five states, and he fought back again in the second election and took them back. He was the only governor who survived Obasanjo in the southwest”
