The Anambra governorship candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, Professor Charles Soludo, has said ahead of the governorship election that dialogue is the only solution to the issue of self-determination in the Southeastern state.

Soludo said this in the Anambra Governorship debate on Monday.

When asked for his solution to the secessionist Indigenous People of Biafra and their leader Nnamdi Kanu, the APGA candidate said,“Everything needs to be laid down on the table”.

Speaking on Kanu’s arrest in 2017, Soludo said, “I am on record. I had asked for his (Nnamdi Kanu) release (In 2017).

“I believe that in a democracy you put everything on the table. The southeast leaders are all working on a consensus that we need to dialog on this to have a solution.”

The Anambra Governorship debate, hosted by Arise News, is currently ongoing.
