Two Nigerian sisters have stirred emotions online after publicly appealing for husbands in a video shared on social media.

In the clip, the young women, identified as Adeze and Amaka, introduced themselves and openly spoke about their struggles to find husbands despite years of prayers and fasting.

Their emotional plea has since sparked mixed reactions among Nigerians.

Public Appeal for Marriage

In the video, the sisters said they were no longer concerned about the shame or criticism that may come with their public request.

According to them, they felt compelled to speak out after exhausting what they described as spiritual efforts.

Adeze revealed she would be turning 39 in April, while Amaka said she would be 35 in September.

They appealed to anyone with a brother, uncle, or relative ready to marry to consider them.

Family Pressure and Disappointment

The sisters explained that the pressure from family has weighed heavily on them.

They said their younger brothers are already married with children, leaving them as the only unmarried siblings in the family.

They admitted that seeing disappointment on their parents’ faces daily has been painful, adding that they hope to settle down and make their parents happy.

In their words; “Nigerians, good morning. My name is Adaeze. My name is Amaka. She’s my junior sister. I will be 39 by April 11. She will be 35 by September. We are using this video to beg anybody that will come across this video. We don’t want to talk about the shame anymore. I know a lot of people will condemn us for doing this, but we are tired. We have prayed. We have fasted. We have done all necessary spiritual work.

Still, yet, we are not able to see husband. Our parents are disappointed. Our younger brothers, they are all married, living with their children. We are the only ones in the family. Nobody. We see the disappointment in our parents’ face every day. We are begging you, if you come across the video, or you have a brother, you have an uncle that is ready to marry, we don’t mind. I don’t mind the tribe. We don’t mind the religion. We don’t mind whether you are in Nigeria or not.

We just want to settle down before our parents will leave without being happy because of us.

We are not perfect, but we know we are not living a bad life. I don’t know what the enemy have done. Please, help us if you’re seeing on this video. I’m tired of praying. I’m tired. If you have any brother that is looking for a wife, please. I’m interested. My sister.”
