1. ELIJAH  –  1 Kings 19 v 3 – 5

v.4 “But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.”

2. JONAH   –  Jonah 4 v 3 & 8

6. HOW TO OVERCOME DEPRESSION

  1. MEDITATE ON GOD’S WORD
    1. Paste God’s words on your walls.
    1. Put them on your phone, iPad, etc.
    1. Confess the word as you are hearing.
    1. Don’t keep quiet.
    1. It may be difficult to open the Bible, but the ones pasted or loaded will minister to you.
  • LISTEN TO WORSHIP SONGS
    • In your car, at home, in your office.
    • In the kitchen.
    • Create an atmosphere for Miracles through Christian Music.
  • LISTEN TO MESSAGES
    • From your Pastor and other anointed Men and Women.
  • PRAYER – 1 Sam. 1 v 10

“And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore.”

  • It might be difficult, Pray in the spirit.
    • Listen to PRAYER TAPES.
    • Have a prayer partner you trust.
  • PRAISE GOD – Isaiah 61 v 3

“To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.”

    • Look at yourself in the mirror and say to yourself “Wole Oladiyun, you are handsomely and wonderfully made by God. You are too unique. God favours you. You are a good boy, etc.
