The Minister of State for Budget and Economic Planning, Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite, has expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for her redeployment to the ministry, describing the move as a renewed vote of confidence in her service.

In a statement on Wednesday, Uzoka-Anite said she was honoured by the President’s decision and fully committed to advancing the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda through improved planning, budgeting, and policy coordination.
“It is a privilege to serve in this capacity,” she said, pledging to focus on delivering measurable outcomes that directly impact Nigerians.
She also congratulated Mr. Taiwo Oyedele on his nomination as Minister of State for Finance, wishing him a smooth confirmation process and success in his new role.

Uzoka-Anite noted that stronger alignment between national planning, budget implementation, and fiscal policy remains critical to achieving inclusive and sustainable economic growth. She said she looks forward to working closely with the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Abubakar Bagudu, as well as other stakeholders across government to drive coordination and accelerate priority reforms.
