The 27-year-old Kentucky-born video vixen landed in Lagos on Friday afternoon — much to the excitement of her Nigerian fans.

Some fans who welcomed her at the airport shared photos and videos that quickly went viral on social media

The rapper and model will headline the ‘Save the Summer’ event scheduled for October 27 at 5pm. The event will take place at Athena Beach in Lekki.

Rose is expected to deliver hits like ‘Big Mouth’ and ‘Twork’ at the event, which promises to be a highlight of the weekend.

The artiste first gained attention by appearing in Migos’ music video for their single ‘Bad and Boujee’.

Rose began her musical career in September 2018, with a remix of Playboi Carti’s song ‘On Top’. In 2019, she gained further traction with her single ‘Big Mouth’.

She made a cameo appearance in American rapper Cardi B’s music video for her single ‘WAP’, released on August 7, 2020.

In 2023, she signed with Josh Marshall on his label Mogul Vision, which operates as part of Interscope Records.

Rose has delivered several hit songs and mixtapes. She has also received accolades for her craft.

Ademola AKINBOLA is an author, publisher, trainer, digital marketing strategist, and a brand development specialist with nearly three decades of experience in the areas of branding, communication, corporate reputation management, business development, organizational change management, and digital marketing.

He is the Founder and Head Steward at BrandStewards Limited, a brand and reputation management consultancy. He is also the Publisher of The Podium International Magazine, Ile-Oluji Times, and Who’s Who in Ile-Oluji.

He had a successful media practice at The Guardian, Punch and This Day.

He started his brand management career at Owena Bank as Media Relations Manager before joining Prudent Bank (now Polaris Bank) as the pioneer Head of Corporate Affairs.

The British Council appointed him as Head of Communication and Marketing to co-ordinate branding and reputation management activities at its Lagos, Abuja, Kano and Port Harcourt offices.

In 2007, he was recruited as the Head of Corporate Planning and Strategy for the Nigerian Aviation Handling company. He led on the branding, strategic planning and stakeholder management support function.
