The University of Lagos has emerged as the university with the highest 1st class students at the 2022 Bar Part II Finals examination, having a total of 25 first-class students after the result release.
In a collated report on universities’ performance, the University of Lagos had 268 students at the Nigeria Law Campuses for the Bar II 2022 out of which 25 bagged 1st class, making the University’s highest number of the first class at the Bar II 2022.
According to the report, the University of Nsukka (UNN) follows in second place with a total of 14 first classes. Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) follow with 12 first-class students, while the University of Ilorin came 4th with a total of 10 first class.

Other notable institutions such as the Lagos State University and Afe Babalola University both produced 4 first classes, while Ahmadu Bello University, Enugu State University of Technology, and Nnamdi Azikiwe University all produced 2 first classes at the law school.
The 2022 Bar exams also recorded 3 first classes from foreign students.
