A U.S.-based Nigerian author and lecturer, Saddiq Dzukogi, has raised an alarm over harassment by the Mississippi State Police in the United States.
Mr Dzukogi, who revealed this on his Facebook page on Wednesday, said the latest incident was the second in a series of racist attacks on him by the police.

Mr Dzukogi, who is an assistant professor at Mississippi State University, however, expressed gratitude for coming out of the two incidents unharmed.
He wrote, “This is the second time this year that the police is being called on me in Mississippi for no reason other than because I am black.
“First, while strolling in my neighborhood in freaking pajamas. And today, at a doctor’s appointment, trying to check-in. Grateful I survived with my life still mine.”
