Gross profit also surged from N21.19 billion to N36.21 billion, pushing the gross profit margin to an impressive 76 percent despite ongoing macroeconomic headwinds, including inflation and rising operational costs.

The company attributed the growth to robust business strategies, improved operational efficiencies and strategic expansions, notably the commissioning of the 5,000-seat Transcorp Centre, now the largest corporate event venue in Nigeria.

The launch of the Transcorp Centre during the review period is seen as a pivotal move in consolidating Transcorp Hotels’ dominance in the hospitality and event space.

The state-of-the-art facility positions the company as a key player in large-scale conferencing and events in West Africa.

In line with its commitment to shareholder value, the company declared a total interim dividend of N1,024,252,841, translating to 10 kobo per 50 kobo ordinary share, subject to applicable withholding tax.

Echoing this, Uzo Oshogwe, the company’s Managing Director/CEO, highlighted the resilience of the business model

“Our exceptional H1 2025 performance reflects our relentless execution of a growth-focused agenda. Building on the foundation of our iconic assets, including the Transcorp Hilton Abuja and the new Transcorp Centre, we are not just leading Nigeria’s hospitality sector, but redefining excellence across Africa,” he said.
