Toba Opaleye’s widow dies
   

Biola Toba-Opaleye, the widow of Toba Opaleye, the late ace broadcaster, died on Sunday following a protracted battle with a cancer-related ailment she was said to have been nursing for years.

Biola, a teacher with St Peters College, Olomore in Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital breathed her last at the Federal Medical Centre, (FMC)Idi- Abeokuta when all efforts for survival failed.

Biola, 45, is survived by her mother, two children, Wonu and Tinu Toba-Opaleye, and would be buried on Tuesday according to Christian rites in Abeokuta.

The husband, a renowned radio broadcaster, who had a brief in-road to politics when he attempted to contest the chairmanship position in Abeokuta North Local Government Area of Ogun State, died over a decade ago, while his works in the media industry still remain reference points
