President Bola Tinubu has doled out another $100,000 (N150m) each to players of the Nigeria Basketball team known as D’Tigress. The coaches and technical crew members were, however, given $50,000 (N75m).

The largese is similar to what he gave the Super Falcons in July when they won the 2025 WAFCON.
Represented by Kashim Shettima at a reception held in honour of the team at the Aso Villa, the players and technical crew members were conferred with National Honours of OON, and a flat each.

They also remain unbeaten in the tournament for a decade.
