Singer Omah Lay Dumps Islam, Returns To Christianity

Nigerian music star Omah Lay has returned to Christianity after previously indicating a conversion to Islam.

Newspotng reports that the singer, who is from Rivers State, had in the past shared messages that said he had embraced Islam, drawing attention from fans and the public at the time.

In a recent update shared on his Snapchat page, Omah Lay revealed a change in his spiritual direction.

He disclosed that he is now focused on the Bible again.

According to his message, although he spent time reading the Quran and found the experience meaningful, he feels a stronger connection with the Bible.

“Back to the Bible. I enjoyed reading the Quran but I relate more to this,” Omah Lay wrote, hinting that he has reverted to his birth religion, Christianity.

In other news, Omah Lay has shared details about a recent short-lived relationship that ended painfully for him.

He spoke during the listening party of his new album, Clarity of Mind.

Newspotng reports that the romance lasted only two months, but the artiste said he invested deeply in it and even imagined a future with a child.

He revealed that the breakup happened during the Grammy Awards while Justin Bieber was performing, making the situation even more difficult for him.
