Shooting Stars came from behind to beat Kwara United in Nigeria’s professional football league game played at the Lekan Salami’s stadium on Wednesday.
The Edith Agoye tutored side were in the bottom three in the league standings before the kickoff and needed nothing short of victory to boost their position.
The first 45 minutes failed to produce a goal, Kwara United took the lead on the hour mark when Alao Danbani beat Shooting Stars goalkeeper Okanlawon Olaide.

The game was stopped in the 70th minute as both sides observed a minute silence in honor of 3SC general manager Rasheed Balogun who passed on a few days ago.
3SC got themselves back in the game eight minutes later as Ayo Adejubu grabbed the leveler.
The turnaround was completed in the last minute of the added time when Ebenezer Odeyemi scored the winner.
The victory lifted the Oluyole Warriors to 15th on the log with 9 points, while Kwara United remains 10th with 11 points.
