As a Chairman of Northeast APC Youth Stakeholders Forum and young politician from Yobe State, I am honored to express my deepest gratitude to His Excellency Mr. Seyi Tinubu, President’s son, and Federal Minister of Youth Hon. Ayodele Olawande Wisdom, for their recent visit to our beloved home state. This gesture deserves our collective appreciation, and I am thrilled to highlight the significance of their visit.

The fact that Mr. Tinubu chose Yobe as his first destination in the Northeast region, just like Kano in the Northwest, speaks volumes about his personal connection with our Governor Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON and the young people of my home state Yobe. This deliberate choice demonstrates his genuine interest in fostering relationships and supporting the development of our region.

I also want use this opportunities to express my deepest gratitude to Mr. Seyi Tinubu for his unwavering support and endorsement of Usman Adamu Nagwaza, the son of Yobe State, to become the first Senate President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) in the Northeast.

Additionally, I would like to commend Mr. Seyi Tinubu for his influence in facilitating the appointment of our Northeast Forum Special Leader, Mr. Abba Isa, as the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Disabilities Matter to the President. This appointment is particularly significant for the Northeast region, which has been severely affected by the insurgency of Boko Haram, resulting in a high number of people living with disabilities.

Mr. Tinubu’s efforts in promoting inclusivity and diversity are truly commendable, and his dedication to empowering marginalized communities is inspiring. As the chairman of the Northeast APC Youth Stakeholders Forum, I am grateful for his support and commitment to our region.

When you flash back to history, Seyi Tinubu’s dedication to youth empowerment is indeed reminiscent of Late Ibrahim Abacha’s efforts during his lifetime. Just as Abacha influenced and empowered young leaders like Senator Ali Madu Sheriff, Atiku Bagudu and many more, who are now making a significant impact in their communities, Seyi is committed to creating opportunities for young people to thrive and become active contributors to their communities.

During their visit, Mr. Tinubu and Minister of Youth, engaged with the youth, shared in the Ramadan spirit, and distributed food to over 2,000 people. These acts of kindness and generosity embody the values of compassion, empathy, and community service that we cherish in Yobe State.

Seyi Tinubu is indeed a shining star among the children of Nigerian politicians, and his humanitarian efforts have earned him widespread respect. As the son of President Bola Tinubu, Seyi could have easily rested on his family’s laurels, but instead, he has chosen to carve out his own path and make a positive impact on his youth constituency across the nation. His commitment to empowering youth and promoting unity among Nigerians is truly inspiring. His visit to engage with Northern Youth, particularly in Yobe State, demonstrates his genuine interest in fostering relationships and supporting the development of the region.

Seyi’s humanitarian work has been particularly impressive, demonstrating his commitment to giving back to society. For instance, during the devastating flood in Maiduguri, Seyi Tinubu made a substantial donation of over ₦700 million, which included essential food items, medical supplies, and other relief materials, benefiting almost 50,000 individuals. His foundation has also provided scholarships and financial aid to students in need, ensuring that education remains accessible to all.

Seyi Tinubu is indeed a remarkable leader who embodies the values of kindness, empathy, and a willingness to listen. I’ve had the privilege of knowing him since 2016, and I’ve seen firsthand his exceptional leadership qualities and commitment to youth empowerment.

As someone who has never rejected my advice, Seyi has shown that he truly values the opinions and perspectives of others. This is a rare trait, especially among leaders of his stature. His dedication to empowering young Nigerians is inspiring, and his efforts have made a tangible impact on the lives of many young people. As a leader who is passionate about youth empowerment, Seyi Tinubu is always open to advice and ideas that can help drive positive change in the lives of young Nigerians.

He deserves commendation and encouragement for his tireless efforts to empower young Nigerians and promote national development. As a young leader and Son to Mr. President, Seyi Tinubu is poised to drive positive change and inspire the next generation of leaders in Nigeria like late Ibrahim Abacha of blessed memory, Son of former head of state, late general Sani Abacha.

As we acknowledge their visit, we must also recognize the importance of expressing gratitude. Saying “thank you” is not just a formality; it’s a powerful way to strengthen relationships, foster positivity, and promote a culture of appreciation.

In conclusion, I extend my sincerest appreciation to His Excellency Mr. Seyi Tinubu and Federal Minister of Youth for their visit to Yobe State and northeast Nigeria. May their selfless acts inspire us to emulate their kindness and generosity, and may our state continue to flourish through the spirit of collaboration and community service.
