Some Ayrshire kids are heading back to the classroom under plans confirmed by Nicola Sturgeon this afternoon.
The First Minister told the Scottish Parliament that early years pupils in P1 to P3 and a limited number senior stage students will head back to schools from Monday.
Schools have been closed since before Christmas as coronavirus cases surged across the country with youngsters participating in forms of online learning.

Increased provision for vulnerable kids was also confirmed by the Scottish Government.
The second phase of schools reopening will be revealed in a few weeks, the First Minister also said.
Nurseries will also be allowed to reopen as part of the plans.
