Saudi Arabia Announces Sunday Eid Al Fitr

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has announced Sunday, March 30, 2025. as the Eid Al Fitr for the year 1446 AH.

The announcement follows the sighting of the crescent moon of Shawwal in several locations across the Kingdom, marking the end of Ramadan and the beginning of the Islamic month of Shawwal.

Consequently, Eid Al Fitr will be observed across Saudi Arabia with special prayers on Sunday morning, followed by festive celebrations with family and community, Saudi Gazette reports.

“The Crescent for the month of Shawwal 1446 was SEEN in Saudi Arabia today subsequently tomorrow is the beginning of the month of Shawwal 1446,” The Holy Mosques also reports via its X handle @theholymosques.
