The Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) has set August 9, 2025, for fresh Local Government Council Elections.
RSIEC chairman, retired Justice Adolphus Enebeli, announced the date during the unveiling of the election timetable and guidelines in Port Harcourt on Wednesday.
