BREAKING: Renowned author, Chimamanda Adichie, loses son
One of Nigeria’s finest authors, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and her husband, Dr. Ivara Esege, have reportedly lost one of their twin sons, Nkanu Nnamdi.
According to reporting from Arise News, the deceased was only 21 months old when he passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, after a brief illness.
He was one of the twin boys she had in April 2024 at the age of 47.
