1. GOD IS THE SUPREME INITIATOR OF LEADERSHIP

• Genesis 2 v 1 – 3: “Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.”

• Isaiah 28 v 10: “For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, Line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little.”

2. LEADERSHIP MUST REST ON THE POWER AND THE WISDOM DIMENSIONS OF GOD

• 1 Cor. 1 v 24 (NKJV): “But to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.”

We must stick to the originality of the Bible but wear new shoes to connect with

the oncoming generation. We must make our messages relatable and contemporary. For example: 2. Kings 2 v 1 – 14 – ELIJAH – ELISHA

4. AGE IS NOT A BARRIER IN LEADERSHIP

• Psalm 92 v 12 – 14: v.12 “The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing”.

5. EMBARK ON CAPACITY BUILDING IN LEADERSHIP

For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will it cease from

yielding fruit.”

14. STOP GIVING EXCUSES

• Luke 19 v 20 – 21: “Then another came, saying, ‘Master, here is your mina, which I have kept put away in a handkerchief. For I feared you, because you are an austere man. You collect what you did not deposit, and reap what you did not sow.”

15. HAVE A STRONG FAITH

• Mark 9 v 23: “Jesus said to him, ‘If you can believe, all things are possible to him who

believes.”

16. PREPARE FOLLOWERS FOR LEADERSHIP

• 1 Cor. 11 v 1 (KJV): “Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.”

17. DON’T BE FEARFUL

• 2 Timothy 1 v 7: “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”

18. HAVE A ROBUST REWARD SYSTEM

• Ruth 2 v 12: “The Lord repay your work, and a full reward be given you by the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge.”

19. YOU NEED THE WISDOM OF GOD

• Proverbs 4 v 7: “Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.”

20. PRAY WITHOUT CEASING

• Luke 18 v 1: “Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart”

inventions.

3. OPENING OF SPIRITUAL EYES & EARS

• Proverbs 20 v 12: “The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the Lord hath made even both of them.”

• May God open your spiritual eyes to see opportunities in Jesus’ name.

• May God open your spiritual ears to hear God in Jesus name.

• Jeremiah 33 v 3: “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”

• God will answer you, whenever you call on him in Jesus’ name.

• God will show you great and mighty things that you don’t know in Jesus’ name.

4. DIVINE REVELATION OF DEEP & SECRET THINGS

• Deut. 29 v 29: “The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things

which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we

may do all the words of this law.”

• Daniel 2 v 22: “He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the

darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.”

• Grace for divine revelation of Deep & Secret things, receive in Jesus’ name.

7. PEACE OF THE LORD
