Prayer For Men by Pastor Wole Oladiyun

Women are PRODUCTIVE when they are HAPPY.

Men are HAPPY when they are PRODUCTIVE.

Exhortation

1. GOD Made Man
   Genesis 2 v 7 & 8
   v.7“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed
   into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.”
   v.8 “The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the
   man whom He had formed.”
2. Expectation Of GOD Concerning The Man In The Family

1. As a Priest
   2 Tim. 3 v 17
   “That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good
   works.”

• Be in charge of your family spiritual wellbeing.
• Set the Spiritual atmosphere.
• Let the family members know God.
• Be in charge of the Family Altar.
• Mobilise the family members to study the word and pray together.
• Let them know that “When you are prayerless, you are careless”.
• Teach them Godliness.

2. As a Father
   Prov. 20 v 7
   “The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after
   him.”

• Model fatherhood to your children.
• Display integrity and transparency.
• Show them how to be responsible.
• Train up your children rightly.
• Teach them Godliness, Integrity and industry.
• Encourage them.
• Be there for them.
• Let them have fond memories of you as a father while growing up.
• Befriend your children
• Discipline them in or with love.
• Don’t be an absentee father.
• Don’t be a sergeant major father.
• Love their mother openly.
• Go on vacations with them

3. As a Husband
   1 Pet. 3 v 7
   “Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving
   honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together
   of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.”

Love your wife unconditionally

• Live with her with understanding
• Treat her with respect
• Treat her as your queen
• Defend your wife
• Shield her from external and internal aggression.
• Admire her always.
• Know her love language
• Provide for her.
• Don’t abuse her mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually
• Recognize that she is a weaker vessel and your better half.
• Give her listening ears always.
• Allow her express herself.
• Help her to fulfill her purpose in life.
• Satisfy her sexually without reservation.
• Communicate clearly to her
• Show her stainless affection.
• Always tell her “I love you”
• Be transparent to her. Don’t hide things from her.
• Let her be your watchdog.
• Recognize her woman power
• She is foresighted, gracious, fashionable, delicate, tender and attractive.
• Know that your wife is a great intercessor.

4. As a Provider
   1 Tim. 5 v 8
   “But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own
   house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.”

You are to provide for your family

• Trust God the Jehovah Jireh. The Lord who provides will provide for you;
  give you new ideas, insight, uncommon favour and occupation.
• Note that the family wellbeing depends on you.
• You are the family caretaker.
• Your family is your primary priority after God.
• Ensure that the family needs are met.

5. As a Defender
   2 Thess. 3 v 3
   
   “But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.”

• You are uniquely equipped to protect your family.
• Defend your family emotionally, physically, finically and spiritually.
• Shield them from extended family attacks.
• Make your family well secured.
• Protect your family from predators and danger.
• Don’t let them be harassed.
• Protect your family theologically. Keep them from heresies and false doctrines.
• As a Godly husband, protect your wife from the children not allowing them to
  threaten or abuse her with words, attitudes or fist.
• Also, intervene in the way your wife disciplines the children not allowing her
  to be harsh or abusive towards them.
• Protect your family from abusive overbearing or interfering family and
  friends.

6. As a Deliverer
   Rom. 11 v 26
   “And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of
   Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob”

Pay close attention to your family.

1 Pet. 5 v 8 – 9
v.8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring
lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour”
v.9 “Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are
accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.”

• Deliver them from the roaring lions through close watch, prayers and other
  means.
• Deliver them from anything that can depress them.
• Take the bullets for your family.
• Deliver them from lack, seeking succor elsewhere by providing for them as at
  when due.
• Let their welfare be your priority
• Don’t allow your family to be defenseless.

7. As a Mentor/Teacher/Counselor

Prov. 22 v 6
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not
depart from it.”

A man must teach the family:

• Kindness
• Mutual Respect
• Accountability
• Integrity
• Godliness
• Industry
• Leadership

1. O ! LORD CALL ME A BY A NEW NAME

2. O! REMEMBER ME FOR GOOD

   “Then God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the animals that
   were with him in the ark. And God made a wind to pass over the earth, and
   the waters subsided.”

v.14 “But Zion said, “The Lord has forsaken me, And my Lord has forgotten
me.”
v.15 “Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the
son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you.”

3. O! LORD, FAVOUR MY DESTINY

   “You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her,
   Yes, the set time, has come.”

   O God, do not be far from me; O my God, make haste to help me!”
5. O! LORD HAVE MERCY UPON MY LIFE

   “But the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave[g] him
   favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.”
6. O ! LORD POUR UPON MY LIFE YOUR FRESH GRACE IN
   JESUS NAME
   Hebrew 4 v 14 – 16
   v.14 “Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the
   heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.”
   v.15 “For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our
   weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.”
   v.16 “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain
   mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
7. ANOINTING FOR MULTIPLICATION FLOW INTO MY
   LIFE IN JESUS NAME
   Jeremiah 30 v 19
   “Then out of them shall proceed thanksgiving And the voice of those who
   make merry; I will multiply them, and they shall not diminish; I will also
   glorify them, and they shall not be small.”
   Psalm 107 v 38
   “He also blesses them, and they multiply greatly; And He does not let their
   cattle decrease.”
   I will not be few in Jesus name
   I will not be small in Jesus name
   God will glorify Himself in my life in Jesus name
   I will not reduce in Jesus name.
   I will not depreciate in Jesus name.

I will not go down in Jesus name.
I will not crash in Jesus name.

8. MY DESTINY, ARISE & SHINE IN JESUS NAME
   Isaiah 60 v 1 & 2
   v.1 “Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen
   upon you.”
   v.2 “For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the
   people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon
   you.”

• My destiny will arise and shine in Jesus name.
• Darkness will not cover my rising and shinning in Jesus name.
• I call forth my season of rising and shinning in Jesus name.
• I will arise and shine in Jesus name.

9. I WILL FLOURISH AND GROW IN JESUS NAME
   Psalm 92 v 12 – 14
   v.12 “The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar
   in Lebanon.”
   v.13 “Those who are planted in the house of the Lord Shall flourish in the
   courts of our God.”

v.14 “They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and
flourishing”

• I will grow like the Cedar in Lebanon in Jesus name.
• As I am aging, I will still bring forth new things in Jesus name.
• I will flourish like the Palm tree in Jesus name.

10.O! LET THE WICKEDNESS OF THE WICKED COME
TO AN END IN MY LIFE
Psalm 7 v 9
“Oh, let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, But establish the
just; For the righteous God tests the hearts and minds.”

• Disturbances in any area of my life, expire in Jesus name.
• Difficulties in my life, family and work, expire in Jesus name.
• Hinderances in my life, home and work, be removed in Jesus name.
• I command any ongoing wickedness of the wicked in my life, home and work to terminate now in Jesus name.
• Limitations in my life, home and work, be removed in Jesus name.
• Crisis in my life, home and work, be terminated in Jesus name.
• Strange battles in my life, family and work, be terminated in Jesus
  name.
• Embargo on my rising, be lifted in Jesus name.
• Long time problems in my life, family and work be nullified in Jesus name.

11. REPEATED PROBLEMS IN MY LIFE, BE TERMINATED
IN JESUS NAME
Jeremiah 32 v 27
“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard
for Me?

• An on-going problems in my life family and work, expire in Jesus name.
• Problems that have vowed to disgrace me and my family, be terminated in
  Jesus name.
• Any problem, frustrating my efforts, expire in Jesus name.
• Any problem mocking my destiny, expire in Jesus name.
• Any problem disturbing my welfare, expired in Jesus name.
• Any problem that wants to depress me, expire in Jesus name.
• Any problem disturbing my breakthrough, be nullified in Jesus name.
• Any problem hindering my manifestations, be nullified in Jesus name.
• Any problem that wants to bring me down suddenly, expire in Jesus name.
• Any problem making my life miserable, expire in Jesus name.
• Any problem that refuses to respect the power of God in my life, expire
  now in Jesus name.
• Problems that are repeatedly growing along with my age, be nullified in
  Jesus name.

12. I SHALL NOT BE DEPRESSED IN JESUS NAME

“When people are happy, they smile, but when they are sad, they look
depressed.”

“A cheerful heart puts a smile on your face, but a broken heart leads to
depression”.

valleys, a land watered by rain.”
v. 12 “The Lord your God takes care of this land and watches over it
throughout the year.”

v.7 “The Lord your God is bringing you into a fertile land—a land that
has rivers and springs, and underground streams gushing out into the
valleys and hills”
v.8 “a land that produces wheat and barley, grapes, figs, pomegranates,
olives, and honey.”
