Billionaire businessmen Femi Otedola and Aliko Dangote paid a courtesy visit to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at his Ikoyi residence on Easter Sunday, where they reportedly discussed the economy and ongoing government reforms.
Otedola confirmed the meeting in a post on his X handle on Monday, saying the discussion centred on how Nigerians could benefit from the administration’s economic policies.
“Yesterday (Sunday), I spent Easter Sunday with our dear President, Bola Tinubu, and my bestie Aliko Dangote. We discussed the economy and how Nigerians can benefit from the reforms,” Otedola wrote.

He also praised the President’s work ethic, describing it as a source of hope for the country.
“On a day of resurrection and renewal, Mr President was still working. That kind of commitment gives you hope for Nigeria,” he added.
According to reports, the meeting forms part of Tinubu’s ongoing engagement with top business figures in the country.
The President also hosted Abdul Samad Rabiu, Chairman of BUA Group, on Sunday. Rabiu told State House correspondents that he visited to extend Eid-el-Fitr greetings and belated birthday wishes to the President, who turned 74 on March 29, 2026.
