One person has been confirmed dead while three others were injured in a night multiple truck accident that occured on Otedola bridge on Monday night.
According to the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority, LASEMA, the accident involved four articulated trucks laden with containers.
The accident was caused by the reckless driving of the driver of a 40-foot container which collided with other trucks resulting in all the trucks getting stuck to each other due to the force of impact on collision.
One adult male was recovered dead from the accident while three others sustained various degrees of injuries and were taken to the Accident and Emergency Centre after being given “on-the-spot” medical attention at the incident scene.
