Ondo Local Govt chieftain dies after slumping at fuel station

The chairman of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) in Akure South local government of Ondo State, Oluwatuyi Olasoji is dead. He died few days after collapsing while waiting to buy fuel.

According to a local tabloid in the state, Sunshine Truth, the deceased slumped last week while trying to buy fuel at a filling station in the state capital and was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre in Owo.

He was said to have undergone surgery and died on Monday.
