The All Progressives Congress, Ondo State Chapter, has expressed shock over the sudden death of the wife of Hon. Timehin Adelegbe, member representing Ose/Owo Federal Constituency of Ondo State at the House of Representatives.

The leadership of the party and members join the state in offering condolences to Hon. Adelegbe and his family on his bereavement. Anike Deborah Adelegbe will be remembered as a loving mother and wife. She had a warm nature that endeared her to everyone she met.

Mrs Anike Deborah Adelegbe, who aged 52 years, died Thursday 4th August 2022. We are, deeply, stunned by the news of the passage of this young and high-spirited mother who, until her untimely death, has remained a stabilising force to the husband, one of the foremost political leaders in Ondo State.

Late Deborah Adelegbe was grace and dignity personified and “a quiet source” of support to her husband’s political travails. She will, sorely, be missed.

In the condolence message of the APC Chairman in Ondo State, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, to Hon Adelegbe, he expressed his shock at the death of this beloved wife, Anike Deborah Adelegbe; “This, indeed, is sad and painful. Although, we cannot question God’s wisdom in taking our dear wife home at this time, my prayers for you and the entire family is that God will console you and keep you strong to overcome this ugly phase in your life.”

Engr Adetimehin also said, while condoling the family of the prodigious politician, that God will comfort him and the entire family at all times and give them the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

Also, he prayed that Adelegbe takes solace in the fact that his wife paraded an accomplished lifestyle towards everyone that came in contact with her. She will be greatly missed.

Really, no quantum of words of solace would really be adequate in a circumstance like this, notwithstanding that, we wish to share your grief by conveying our deepest condolences to you and to all the other members of your family, especially, the children she left behind.

We pray that the Almighty God shall give you the strength and the fortitude to bear this lasting sorrow.

May her soul rest in peace.
