Ondo Amotekun arrests notorious human trafficker with four Ghana-bound girls

It was haulage of criminals in Ondo State on Thursday as Amotekun Corps paraded 25 suspects, among them a notorious human trafficker.

The operatives rescued four girls who were being moved to Ghana for child trafficking by a notorious female trafficker.

The four girls and their trafficker were intercepted while they were being moved from Abuja to Ibadan.

The victims, who were teenagers, said they promised to take them to Ghana for jobs.

Parading the suspects and twenty- three others, the Amotekun Commander, Adetunji Adeleye, said the girls will be reunited with their families.

He added that the case is being investigated by the Command to get to the root of the matter.
