businesswoman, Tracynither Nicolas Ohiri, has taken to social media to allege that she was arrested on the orders of the Minister of Works, David Umahi.

In a viral video, she claimed she was being taken to Abuja and called on Nigerians to hold the minister and the police responsible if anything happens to her.

“He Has Been Owing Me for 12 Years”

Tracynither alleged that Umahi has owed her for 12 years over campaign materials she supplied. She further claimed that her refusal to date him led to the prolonged dispute.

“Nigerians, David Umahi, who has been owing me for 12 years, just arrested me. And right now they are taking me to Abuja. I am very high in my spirits, but should anything happen to me, Nigerians should hold David Umahi and the Nigerian police responsible,” she said in the video.

She repeated the claim, insisting that she was on her way to Abuja.

Allegation of Power Abuse

Tracynither accused the minister of using his political influence to “weaponise” state power against her.

“This man, David Umahi, has been owing me for 12 years because I refused to date him. And right now he is using his power as a politician to weaponise and arrest me. I am on my way to Abuja,” she alleged.

Ongoing Controversy

The development comes amid an ongoing dispute between both parties, with Umahi previously denying allegations of unpaid contracts and sexual harassment, and threatening legal action.

As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official response from the minister’s office or the police regarding her latest claims.
