Popular American streamer, Kai Cenat has opened up about his strong emotional connection to Nigeria, describing the country as the first place where he experienced ‘100 per cent love.’

The digital creator made the statement during a courtesy visit to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the Lagos House, Marina.

Kai, who first visited Nigeria in 2024, revealed that he returned to follow up on projects he initiated during his previous trip.

He expressed excitement about being back in Lagos and the warm reception he received, saying:

“I am glad to be here. I love coming here. When I landed, the love was crazy. Nigeria is the first country I felt like 100 per cent love.”

His comment has since sparked reactions online, with many Nigerians applauding him for openly appreciating the country and its people.

During the meeting, Governor Sanwo-Olu highlighted some of his administration’s youth empowerment and tourism initiatives.

He noted that the Eyo Cultural Festival organised by the state government in December attracted about 10,000 participants, alongside thousands of spectators.

Kai Cenat’s growing relationship with Nigeria continues to excite fans, especially young Nigerians who see his visits as a boost to the country’s global digital and entertainment visibility.
