In her remarks, Selin said Finnish companies have made significant advances in aviation technology, particularly in training, manpower development, and the promotion of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).
She said Finland is ready to collaborate with Nigeria to drive innovation and knowledge transfer that will strengthen the country’s aviation industry.
On his part, the minister reaffirmed the federal government’s commitment to partnerships that would build capacity and enhance the skills of Nigerian aviation professionals, as well as promote cleaner and more efficient technologies.
“To ensure progress on this initiative, the minister has set up a dedicated team to engage with Finnish partners and spearhead projects on SAF, training, and manpower development,” the statement added.

According to Moshood, Keyamo said the ministry is committed to leveraging international collaborations to modernise Nigeria’s aviation sector, boost efficiency, and align with global best practices in sustainability.
