In this letter, the retired military contends that the American nation is “in great peril” after an “assault on our constitutional rights.” They denounce among other things an administration that would have taken a “turn to the left towards socialism and a Marxist form of tyrannical government”.

They add that Biden’s “mental and physical state” “cannot be ignored”, taking recurring invective of the Trump administration on the mental health of the current president.
