Pastor Wole Oladiyun, the Senior Pastor of the Christ Livingspring Apostolic Ministry (CLAM), Omole, Lagos, has called on Nigerian youths to desist from sacrilegious acts such as cybercrime, armed robbery, kidnapping, and killing for money-making rituals.

Pastor Oladiyun, who spoke in Lagos on Wednesday during CLAM’s mid-week deliverance service, frowned at the rising cases of violent crimes involving teenagers and youths, saying that crime will never be the solution to the problems of youth unemployment.
“There is a time to plant, and there is a time to harvest. Success in life is achieved through a process. God has given you everything you need to succeed and excel. Trust the process, commit your ways into God’s hands, and be patient”, Pastor Oladiyun added.

Saying nothing good comes easy, he admonished Nigerian youths to be ready to face some challenges in life, but they should be assured that the challenges will not overwhelm them once they are walking with God and deploying their talents, skills, and resources for optimal result.
Pastor Oladiyun acknowledged the failure of successive Nigerian governments to intentionally engage and empower youths while lamenting that society has not lived up to the expectations of the youths. He also decried the poor standard of parenting prevalent in Nigeria today.
His words: “I know the times are hard and harsh, but resorting to killing family and friends for so-called money rituals is not the solution you need. It is evil and will always lead to destruction because God abhors the shedding of innocent blood. I am not condemning you, but I am condemning your despicable act of killing people for money rituals. It is an abomination in the sight of God, and I will never support any iniquitous act, no matter how you want to justify it”.
Pastor Oladiyun called on the youths to discover their God-given talents, nurture and develop them while exploring opportunities to earn legitimate income that surround those talents and skills. They should never shy away from menial jobs at the beginning while they seek the big break.
“I once sold akara on the streets of Lagos to make ends meet” he disclosed, saying success can only come through Godliness, sustained focus on a well-defined vision, perseverance, honesty, hard work, and meaningful networking. “Our doors in CLAM are wide open for youths, irrespective of their religious, tribal, or ethnic inclinations. Please come for deliverance, prayers, counseling, mentoring, coaching, grooming, and welfare support. We will work with you to fulfill your vision. We will support those of you with genuine plans and intentions. God will use CLAM to settle you”, he said, while encouraging the youths to engage with CLAM online through its various social media platforms.

Pastor Oladiyun also tasked governments at all levels to be alive to their responsibilities to the youths.
