After integrating ChatGPT, Microsoft Edge has accumulated nearly 300 million users, a worldwide browser market share report said.

Atlas VPN disclosed this recently in its May Browser Market report.

Accordingly, Microsoft Edge users increased to 50 million merely months after implementing the integration.

However, despite the increase, Google Chrome and Safari had remained first and second dominant players in the browser market.

Chrome’s impressive user count of around 3.4 billion can be attributed to its strong features, user-friendly interface, and seamless integration with Google services.

A break down of other browsers showed that Safari reached over 1.1 billion users.

Apple’s Safari browser experienced significant growth last year, surpassing 1 billion users and has continued to expand to 1.1 billion users this year.

Opera, on the other hand, witnessed a 40% increase in user numbers, rising from 109 million to 152 million users since April 2022.

Firefox currently has around 150 million users, while Samsung Internet browser has a user base of nearly 135 million individuals.
