Maradona’s younger brother dies of heart attack 13 months after brother’s death

Diego Maradona’s younger brother Hugo has died of a heart attack aged 52.

Hugo suffered the fatal attack at his home in Naples, a city which revers his older brother and where he had his own sporting career, around 11.50 am on Tuesday.

His death comes just 13 months after a cardiac arrest killed Diego – Argentina’s world cup hero and one of the greatest ever to play the game – in November 2020 at the age of 60.
