A man has been arraigned before a court in Yola, Adamawa State, for allegedly selling six children to a woman.
Yohanna Saidolo allegedly took the six children from his neighbours in Koma, Jada council of the state, under the pretext of taking them to a missionary school in Yola.
Saidolo handed the children to one Madam Lydia in Rhumde Baru, a community in Yola North council.
Saidolo pleaded guilty.
Police prosecutor Ibrahim Aliyu told the court that one Markus Anthony and five others reported the matter to the police on February 5, saying that the defendant deceived them and took their children to an unknown destination.
The case was adjourned till March 25 for ruling.
