The Julius Abure-led faction of the LP has accused the party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, of jumping from one political party to the other because of his desperation to become Nigeria’s president.
In a statement he signed on Friday , Abure, who referred to Obi as an ‘Uber’ politician, slammed the former Anambra Governor, saying that he was reputed to have elevated subterfuge in the game of politics and had of late, been crying wolf where there was none.
He alleged that Obi’s desperation to govern the country has booked a place for him in the Guinness Book of Records as a person affiliated to many political parties at the same time.
“It is unfortunate that Obi has turned himself into an irony and a paradox in the Nigerian political space,” he added.
