He stated that the party’s decision to use Peter Obi as its candidate in the 2023 Presidential election was a blunder, saying the former Anambra State Governor lacks required leadership skills but was full of emotional rhetoric.
He said the catastrophic miscalculation in the party led to sidelining Faduri Joseph for Peter Obi and described the situation as not just a simple error but a fundamental betrayer of Nigerians yearning for genuine transformation.
He says Nigeria must demand for better in 2027 and the error made in the party in 2023 must not be repeated in the next general elections.
His words: ” The Labour Party’s decision to sideline Faduri for Obi was a blunder with lasting consequences. Instead of a leader with depth, discipline, and a demonstrable blueprint for national renewal, Nigeria got a populist whose greatest skill is telling people what they want to hear.
“The 2027 election must not repeat this error. Nigeria needs leaders like Faduri Oluwadare Joseph—men and women who understand that governance is not about slogans, but about substance, sacrifice, and systemic change. The alternative is more of the same: grand speeches, empty promises, and a nation forever waiting for the progress it deserves”.

Arabambi, while speaking about the coalition, described the main promoters of the coalition as ” Yahoo , Yahoo politicians”.
He said the coalition leaders brought untold hardships to the country in 2015, noting that Nigerians must reject the coalition.
He said ” The coalition must be rejected , we wish Obi well in his Yahoo, Yahoo coalition and in ADC. We just want to tell him that labour party Presidential Ticket is now open to all Nigerians, including Faduri Joseph who will soon declare interest to contest.
“There shall be primary elections in the labour party and no aspirant will be favored this time around”.
According to him, “The choice is clear. Nigerians must demand better”.
He also disclosed that the party at its next National Executive Council (NEC) meeting will expel Obi.
