Barely days after stepping down as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has been appointed Chairman of the Board of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).

The announcement was made during the official inauguration of the newly constituted FAAN board members held in Abuja.
Ganduje, a former governor of Kano State, resigned from his position as APC National Chairman last week, citing “urgent and personal matters” as the reason for his decision.

Following his resignation, Ali Bukar Dalori was named as his successor and is now serving as the party’s new National Chairman.
Ganduje’s swift return to a prominent public role has sparked renewed interest in his political trajectory, especially coming so soon after his exit from the ruling party’s top leadership position.
