The Senior Pastor of the Christ Livingspring Apostolic Ministry (CLAM), Pastor Wole Oladiyun, Sunday, looked back at the last 24 years and concluded that it has been a great privilege, and a rare honour for him to have been serving God in various capacities.

“I consider myself as a privileged prayer priest, a chosen prophet, a crusader, and a soul winner for God. It is God that has been doing the work, I am just a vessel unto honour for His Kingdom”, Pastor Oladiyun said in Lagos during a special service to celebrate his 63rd birthday, and the 24th anniversary of CLAM.

Pastor Oladiyun asked the congregation to join him in thanking God for the CLAM vision, and the provision in the past 24 years. “I was practicing Engineering passionately and doing well until God stopped me at the age of 39. He gave me a new vision. He disengaged me to engage me for His purpose. See what the Lord has done with the fulfillment of the vision”, he added.

He singled out his wife, Pastor (Mrs.) Bukola Oladiyun, for commendation. Said he: “Help me to thank my wife. It takes a woman like her to manage me because I can be a very complex human being. At a point last year, I was disappointed and depressed. I was injured, betrayed, and bleeding. I didn’t feel like reading the Bible and preaching again. I broke down but God came through for me. I told my wife that maybe it was time to go back to heaven, but she said no, and kept encouraging and interceding for me.”

“Based on her encouragement, I went to God in prayers to seek further clarification of the vision. Then the Lord spoke to me saying I should pick up myself and forge ahead. I asked God for a token of confirmation. The first token he gave me was the miraculous acquisition of the land in Lekki where CLAM Prayer Centre’s building is proudly sitting today. God also gave us a good space in Abuja. These two developments buoyed my confidence and renewed my faith in the vision”, he stated.

Pastor Oladiyun also thanked all CLAM ministers and workers, past and present, for their various contributions to the success of the Ministry since its inception.

According to Pastor Oladiyun, there are three important stages in a man’s life. These are birth, birthday, and death. Quoting Psalm 39:4, James 1:1, and Psalm 127:1-3, he reiterated the need for Christians to always thank God at every stage. We must give all the glory to God because without Him, we cannot achieve anything.

“The scripture has been fulfilled in CLAM. Despite the grace of God upon me, my anointing, diligence, and all that, if the God factor is taken away, there won’t be me and there won’t be CLAM. If not for God, we would not have survived the last 24 years. Our salary has never failed for one day, despite the various welfare and human development projects that we have been involved in, such as the Soteria Maternity and Hospital, the CLAM Prayer Camp, the crusades, the Soteria Farm, the corporate social responsibility initiatives, scholarships, etc. God has been sustaining us. I thank Him because He is the vision giver, sustainer, repairer, supporter, carrier, encourager, and provider. I want you to praise God with me”.

Citing other reasons for thanking God, Pastor Oladiyun said:

“Thank God for me for a good family. If my wife were to be a gossip, the church would have scattered a long time ago. She is calm, patient, and reflective.  Thank God for the wisdom, purity, and power God has given me. Thank God for the prayer engine inside me. Thank God for the mercurial energy, vigor, and strength he has given me”.

“I became a houseboy at the age of 11 when my father died. That was when I developed my mental toughness. I made the right choice at that level. Thank God for my rigid focus. I chose well. The choice you make today will determine your tomorrow. Help me thank God for the grace for soul winning. Thank Him for the grace to hear and obey Him. God has always talked to me”.

On April 2, 1998, a seed was planted. Over the years, God has nurtured the seed of greatness into what CLAM is today: an international apostolic prayer ministry with branches in Lekki, Abuja, Houston, Texas (USA), and London (UK). The CLAM brand is renowned for word-based deliverance and settlement prayers.
