It is Time For Progress in Jesus Name

Progress means:

• Forward movement towards a destination
• Development towards an improved condition
• To move forward
• To move toward a higher or better stage
• To advance
• A change of position or status positively
• A change of situation positively
• A change of condition positively

1. PROGRESS IS OUR COVENANT BIRTHRIGHT
   • Genesis 1 v 28  (NKJV)
     “Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
     
   • Deut. 8 v 18 (NIRV)
     “But remember the Lord your God. He gives you the ability to produce wealth. That shows he stands by the terms of the covenant he made with you. He promised it to your people of long ago. And he’s still faithful to his covenant today.”

2. GOD WANTS YOU TO FLOURISH
   • Psalm 92 v 12 – 14  (NKJV)
     v.12“The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.”
     v.13 “Those who are planted in the house of the Lord Shall flourish in the courts of our God.”
     v.14  “They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be [c]fresh and flourishing,”

3. GOD WANTS TO BLESS THE WORKS OF YOUR HANDS
   • Deut. 28 v 12  (NKJV)
     “The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow.”

4. GOD WANTS TO DISTINGUISH YOU BY POURING CREATIVE ANOINTING ON YOU
   • Exodus 35 v 30
     “And Moses said to the children of Israel, “See, the Lord has called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah”

• Creative Excellence in the name of Jesus

5. GOD WANTS TO START MARVELLOUS THINGS AND WONDERS IN YOUR LIFE
   • Isaiah 29 v 14
     “Therefore, behold, I will again do a marvelous work Among this people, A marvelous work and a wonder; For the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, And the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.”

6. GOD WANTS TO DO BETTER UNTO YOU THAN AT YOUR BEGINNING
   • Ezekiel 36 v 11
     “I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bear young; I will make you inhabited as in former times, and do better for you than at your beginnings. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.”

7. GOD WANTS TO POUR ON YOU THE GRACE OF I HAVE MORE THAN ENOUGH
   • Genesis 33 v 9

     “But Esau said, “I have enough, my brother; keep what you have for yourself.”

     “But Esau said, “I already have plenty, my brother. Keep what you have for yourself.”

8. GOD CAN EMPOWER YOU TO START PROGRESS

9. TO PROGRESS, DON’T GIVE UP

   • Genesis 26 v 17 – 22
     v.17 “Then Isaac departed from there and [b]pitched his tent in the Valley of Gerar, and dwelt there.”
     v.18 “And Isaac dug again the wells of water which they had dug in the days of Abraham his father, for the Philistines had stopped them up after the death of Abraham. He called them by the names which his father had called them.”
     v.19 “Also Isaac’s servants dug in the valley, and found a well of running water there.”
     v.20 “But the herdsmen of Gerar quarreled with Isaac’s herdsmen, saying, “The water is ours.” So he called the name of the well Esek, because they quarreled with him.”
     v.21 “Then they dug another well, and they quarreled over that one also. So he called its name Sitnah.”
     v.22 “And he moved from there and dug another well, and they did not quarrel over it. So he called its name Rehoboth, because he said, “For now the Lord has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.”
   • Genesis 26 v 32 – 33
     v.32 “It came to pass the same day that Isaac’s servants came and told him about the well which they had dug, and said to him, “We have found water.”
     v.33 “So he called it [g]Shebah. Therefore the name of the city is Beersheba to this day.”
   • Isaac obeyed God’s divine instruction
     Genesis 26 v 2
     “Then the Lord appeared to him and said: “Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land of which I shall tell you.”
   • Isaac demonstrated Hard work and smart work
     Genesis 26 v 12
     “Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him.”
   • Isaac demonstrated RESILIENCE, OBSTINATE, PERSISTENCY, UNBROKEN FOCUS, TENACITY & COURAGE
     Genesis 26 v 20, 21 & 22

10. LESSONS FROM THE LIFE OF ISAAC FOR YOU

• Beloved, there is a greater glory ahead of you.
•  Your present situation is not your final position. 
• The bend on the road is not the end of the road. 
• The failure today is a platform for you to try again as success awaits your tomorrow.
• Don’t be discouraged,
• Don’t be confused
• Don’t give up on yourself, don’t give up on your vision. 
• Make another move now with God on your side. 
• Achievers in life are determined, rugged, resilient, daring, unbreakable, fighters.

Isaac fought for his wells; I dare say to you also “fight for your well”.  You will get there in Jesus name.

• Don’t be satisfied with little success.
• Don’t be complacent with little achievement.
• Don’t exhibit “I have arrived attitude” with little progress.
• There is a greater height out there for you.
• Receive fresh anointing for greater heights in Jesus name.
• Receive anointing to progress globally in Jesus name.
• I see God multiplying your anointing to progress globally in Jesus name.

11. SOME CONDITIONS FOR PROGRESS

1. You must have relationship with God.  John 3 v 16.  Yield your life to God through our Lord Jesus Christ.  You must be saved.
2. Live a life of Holiness.  Shun Sins. Jer. 5 v 25.  Sin is a progress destroyer.
3. Have Intimacy with God through meditation on His word on daily basis.  John 15 v 1 – 5.
4. Obey and do God’s Principles – Pay your Tithe, First-fruit, offerings.  Malachi 3 v 10, Prov. 3 v 9 & 10; Ezek. 44 v 30
5. Do not Grieve the Holy Spirit.  Eph. 4 v 30.
6. Embark on Spiritual Warfare – Luke 18 v 1.
7. Watch and Pray, Prayer and Fasting is a must.
8. Make Restitution where and when necessary.
9. If you are on a wrong location, God must relocate you from that wrong house, wrong environment, wrong church, wrong business as you cannot testify nor progress in a wrong place.
10. Pray investigative, foundational prayers if your problems have overstayed.
11. Singles, stop sex before marriage so that you can be visited by God.
12. Avoid, bitterness, wrath, unforgiveness, heresies, malice, jestings that are not convenient.
13. SEXUAL immorality is a Testimony Killer.  Run away from fornication and Adultery.  Many peoples progress have disappeared through Immorality.  It is the quickest means to assassinate people’s progress.
14. Avoid destructive characters, like Gambling, Alcohol consumption, smoking, drugs intake, pool betting, etc.
15. Avoid illegal Businesses.  Jer.  17 v 9  – 11.
16. Do not be lazy.  Hardwork is a factor.
17. Pray to be connected to your ordained Helpers will help you without abusing you in any form.
18. Giving and showing kindness are crucial factors.
19. Self-examination.  Realising your mistakes and correcting them in very essential.
20. Proper programming, organization, forecasting, motivation, control, communication and co-ordination are very key to having and retaining progress.
21. Avoid I have arrived attitude.
22. Don’t be complacent.
23. Be proactive, prudent and shrived.
24. Invest as money comes in.
25. Develop a Healthy family life – Gen.  2 v 21 – 25
26. Network with those who can add values to you  –  1 Cor. 15 v 33
27. Reject Discouragement and Distraction – 2 Sam. 30 v 1 – end.
28. Retreat – To pray, think and revitalize yourself.
29. Take good care of your Health.  Health is wealth.
30. Always be grateful to God and your Helpers.
31. Avoid Procrastination and don’t waste opportunities.
32. Be passionate with your occupation.
33. Stop being deceitful. Honesty is rewarding.
34. Have the fear of God in your heart always. Prov. 19 v 23
35. Believe that with God nothing shall be impossible.
36. Have faith in God.

12. PRAY AGAINST PROGRESS STOPPERS
    • Genesis 26 v 18
      “And Isaac dug again the wells of water which they had dug in the days of Abraham his father, for the Philistines had stopped them up after the death of Abraham. He called them by the names which his father had called them.”
    • The Philistines in this verse stand for the modern day enemies who are contending with your progress, fighting hard to stop every progress move made from yielding positive results.  We must contend with them in prayers.

The under-listed stoppers must be dealt with in prayers for you to progress meaningfully. Pray like this:

• It portrays that such a person’s progress is under gruesome attacks.
• Please, pray the under-listed prayers with faith.
