As a female career coach, motivational speaker, and entrepreneur, inclusion to me means creating environments where people feel valued, respected, and empowered to bring their authentic selves to the table. It is about fostering diversity of thought, perspectives, and experiences, recognising and celebrating the unique strengths and contributions that each person brings.

Inclusion is not just about meeting diversity quotas; it is about actively listening to and supporting the voices of underrepresented groups, providing equal opportunities for growth and advancement, and breaking down barriers that hinder progress. It is about creating a sense of belonging where everyone can thrive and succeed.

As a career coach, Inclusion is at the heart of my work as I strive to empower people to reach their full potential and contribute to society. International Women’s Day, observed annually on March 8th, stands as a pivotal moment in the global women’s rights movement, shedding light on crucial issues such as gender equality, and the elimination of violence and abuse against women.

Originating from the labour movements in North America and Europe during the early 20th century, International Women’s Day (IWD) is a testament to the enduring struggle for universal female suffrage and equitable treatment. Reflecting on my personal journey and professional trajectory, I am deeply motivated to inspire inclusion on International Women’s Day 2024.

As the founder of SO Coaching Consulting Services Limited, I actively champion diversity and inclusion, providing tailored guidance and support to individuals from diverse backgrounds as they navigate their careers. This year my mission is to foster a culture where everyone feels valued and respected, regardless of gender, race, or background.

Additionally, in my role as the current Chairman of the Career Committee within the Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation UK South (NIDOUKS), I am dedicated to fostering an environment where inclusivity flourishes, ensuring equal opportunities for all.

Beyond my professional endeavours, as a passionate motivational speaker, I advocate for the creation of a more inclusive society where every individual’s unique talents and contributions are recognised and celebrated. I encourage women to embrace their inherent strengths and accomplishments, fostering a culture of empowerment.

We can build an inclusive society for all through collective actions. Happy International Women’s Day #inspireinclusion #IWD
