Nigerian singer Lil Frosh has accused nightlife influencer Yhemolee of physically assaulting him at a high-profile party, alleging that he was slapped in front of friends after refusing to greet the host.

The incident, which the artiste said stemmed from an earlier online post made about him, has triggered fresh conversations about celebrity feuds, public conduct and accountability within Nigeria’s entertainment scene.

According to Lil Frosh, the altercation occurred at a party where he and his associates reportedly paid ₦5 million for a table.

He explained that lingering resentment over a past online video influenced his decision to avoid interaction, a move he claimed escalated the situation.

The allegation has since circulated widely on social media, drawing mixed reactions from fans and industry observers.

“I already decided I wouldn’t speak to him”

Yhemolee went online and posted a video about me and ever since then I just have it in mind that I’ll never be in talking terms with him. That day I didn’t greet him and he came to slap me in front of my friends. It was his party and we bought a table of ₦5 million,” he said.

Old tensions resurface in public

This is not the first time tensions between entertainers have spilled into public view.

In August 2023, online clashes between artistes and influencers over perceived disrespect at events sparked similar debates about boundaries and ego in nightlife spaces.

As of press time, Yhemolee has not publicly responded to the allegation. Fans continue to await clarity, with calls for restraint and proper conflict resolution gaining momentum.
