“If you Don’t Send Me Money Within 3 Days, I’ll Block You” – Lady Sparks Debate over Talking Stage Rule

A Nigerian lady has sparked mixed reactions online after boldly sharing her rule about money during the talking stage process.

In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter) by @AsakyGRN, the young woman explained that she does not believe in entertaining a man who fails to spend on her within the first few days of talking.

According to her, early financial gestures are a major sign of seriousness.

In her words, she said:

“If you don’t send me money after three days of talking, I’m done. I believe a man that doesn’t spend during talking stage will not spend in relationship. How do you talk to a guy that has never given you ₦5,000?”

She went on to clarify that for her, it is not about the amount but the intention behind it.

In her view, she suggested that reluctance to give even ₦5,000 shows a lack of willingness to invest emotionally and financially in the future.

The lady further noted that she sees early spending as a test of consistency, insisting she would rather end things quickly than continue talking to someone she believes is not generous.

Her comments have since divided social media users.

One user wrote, “So love is now subscription-based?” Another commented, “₦5,000 is not the problem. The entitlement after three days is what’s scary.”
