Information just reaching us, has it that the Chairman of Lagos Island East LCDA, hon. Muibi Alade Folawiyo has been arrested by the ICPC for gross corruption, massive stealing, diversion of public funds for personal benefits, non adherence to due process among other reasons.
According to sources which we are still trying to authenticate, the chairman was arrested at the Council Secretariat on 42 Broad street, Lagos after failing to honour repeated invitations sent and acknowledged by him.
He is in their custody and we are monitoring developments on the matter.
