Opera singer, Abiodun Koya, has caused a stir online after revealing the unexpected reason she turned down billionaire politician, Ned Nwoko after just one date, long before his marriage to actress Regina Daniels.
In a recent interview, Abiodun made it clear that she and Ned were never close. She revealed that their brief interaction ended after their first date.
According to her, the moment Ned parked his car directly under a sign that boldly read ‘No Parking’ when he came to pick her up for a restaurant outing, she knew it was a deal-breaker.
She described the act as such a major turn-off that she immediately decided she couldn’t continue seeing him.
In her words, she said:
“I am not close to him. I just went on a date with him about a year before he married Regina Daniels, and I knew he wasn’t for me. He parked his car in a place that clearly stated ‘No Parking’. That was a turn-off.”
For Abiodun, the issue wasn’t money, status, or luxury — it was character and discipline. She explained that a man who ignores simple rules in public is not the kind of partner she wants to build a future with.
Her revelation comes amid the ongoing saga between Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko, which has involved intense marital disputes and legal matters.
Abiodun’s confession has now opened a new chapter in the Ned Nwoko conversation, drawing attention to how small actions can signal deeper aspects of a person’s character.
