“I Came from Benue” – Lady Cries Bitterly After Davido Drove Past Her Outside His Home, Despite Waiting for A Week

A young lady has gone viral after crying uncontrollably outside Davido’s mansion, claiming she and her friend travelled from Benue State and had been camping near the compound for over a week just to see him.

In the emotional clip shared by AsakyGRN on X (formerly Twitter), she repeatedly begged people online to help tag Davido, saying the singer had just driven into his home but his team didn’t stop to attend to them.

In her words, she said:

“Guys, we came all the way from Benue, please help me tag Davido. We haven’t eaten or taken water. we’ve been here hoping to see him.”

She added that they knelt by the gate, praying and pleading with Davido’s driver to stop so they could see the superstar, but he didn’t.

The lady held a large customised picture frame she made for Davido while calling out to “Papa Imade” and “Madam Chioma” to notice them.

Lamenting bitterly, she added:

“They didn’t stop for us. We begged the driver, but he didn’t stop. We are at his compound, we’re at his gate. OBO, please… it’s over a week now we have been outside here. Davido, please look at the frame I made for you.”

X users reacted. One commentator said, “This is obsession. They need rest and support, not this stress.” Another added, “People should stop camping at celebs’ houses. It’s not safe.”

The video has continued to spark mixed reactions online, with many Nigerians urging Davido’s team to check on the lady for her safety and well-being.
