How I Got the Nickname ‘Omosexy’ – Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde Speaks

Veteran Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has opened up about how she got her popular nickname, “Omosexy.”

Speaking during an interview with Naija FM, the actress explained that the name was given to her by her husband, Matthew Ekeinde.

She disclosed that he had purchased a Lincoln Navigator for her at the time and customized the plate number with the name.

The interviewer asked: “The name Omosexy. Who give you that name? Na we give you that name? Abi na you give yourself that name. Or na your cofamily give you am?”

Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde replied in part:

“Na my honey boy give me that name…e buy me one Lincoln Navigator that time..e put am for the plate number, you know, him write am there.”
